QSUB118P is designed to reproduce low frequency effects at a high sound pressure level with impact and dynamics. The design criteria also considers extended low frequency response, low distortion and minimum vent turbulence.
The QSUB118P is powered with a 18” low frequency driver which can handle 1500 Watts continuous power. The high mechanical excursion capability of the driver extends the transient power high above its rated power. Besides, the mechanical robust design ensures extended life span and reduces fatigue.
The driver is loaded with an enclosure incorporating aerodynamically designed vents. Unlike conventional tubular ports, these aerodynamically designed vents minimizes port air turbulences and allows free flowing uncompressed deep bass.
The enclosure is designed with the aid of advanced finite element analysis software. Built with the highest quality Birch Ply and critically braced to dampen internal resonances. The enclosure is perfectly tuned for optimum performance and controlled cone excursion.
